The design and creation of 3D digital character animation will be the focus of this class. The principles of animation will be introduced as well as the history of the field. Projects will include dialog and lip syncing. Students will create a short portfolio piece that demonstrate their understanding of the fundamental principals, while striving to create believable character motion. Timing, weight, and body mechanics, will be stressed.
